The application for grant of Entry Study Visa for students of Deeni Madaris will be received in Pakistani Missions abroad at least three months prior to the commencement of proposed course in the Deeni Madaris registered with Directorate General of Religious Education (DGRE), Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training, Pakistan.

The concerned Pakistani Foreign Mission on receipt of applications for grant of Entry Study Visa for studying in Deeni Madaris, may seek NOC from the Home Government/concerned office of foreign national, where the government has share/shown reservations on study of their nationals in Deeni Madaris in Pakistan to Mb o Foreign Affairs/ Pakistani Foreign Mission.

NOC from the Home Government/concerned office for study at Deeni Madaris in Pakistan (Mandatory for those countries who have share their concerns with M/o Foreign Affairs/ Pakistani Mission abroad for study of their nationals in Deeni Madaris in Pakistan).

The concerned Pakistani Foreign Mission will forward four (04) sets of complete applications for grant of entry study visa to DGRE, Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training for grant of NOC. The application must consist of following:

1. Visa application form (5 pages)
2. Recent photograph of applicant
3. Image/copy of the Passport (Validly period must not be less than of two years)
4. Admission/Offer letter of Deeni Madaris at Pakistan, mentioning Course name, date of commencement and expected date for completion of course (duration)

The Directorate General of Religious Education (DGRE), Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training will examine these applications and will forward the these applications along with their NOCs to Ministry of Interior for further processing for grant of Entry study Visa for students of Deeni Madaris.

2 Weeks

Ministry of Interior will seek security clearance from ISI & IB. Security clearance may be completed within 4-6 weeks, in case the security clearance is not received within stipulated time, it will be presumed that Agencies have no objection on grant of requisite Entry Study visa for students of Deeni Madaris.

4-6 Weeks

On receipt of advice from Security agencies or otherwise, Ministry of Interior will issue necessary instructions for grant of Entry Visa for Study or otherwise to the concerned Pakistani Foreign Mission under intimation to MoFA, Mo FE&PT (DGRE), 151 and IB.

2 Weeks

The Deeni Madaris will submit request for grant of extension in Study Visa to Directorate General of Religious Education (DGRE), Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training, three months prior to the expiry of existing study visa of foreign national. The application must consist of following (4 sets):

1. Visa application form (5 pages)
2. Recent photograph of applicant
3. Image/copy of the Passport (Validly period must not be less than of two years)
4. Bonafide letter mentioning Course name, date of commencement and expected date for completion of course (remaining duration)
5. NOC from the Home Government/concerned Embassy of foreign nationals to pursue study at Deeni Madaris in Pakistan (Mandatory for those countries who have share their concerns with M/o Foreign Affairs/ Pakistani Mission abroad for study of their nationals in Deeni Madaris in Pakistan).

2 Weeks

The Directorate General of Religious Education (DGRE), Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training will examine these applications and will forward three (03) sets along with their NOCs to Ministry of Interior for further processing for grant of extension in study Visa for students of Deeni Madaris.

Ministry of Interior will seek security clearance from ISI & IB. Security clearance may be completed within 4-6 weeks, in case the security clearance is not received within stipulated time, it will be presumed that Agencies have no objection on grant of requisite extension in Study visa for students of Deeni Madaris.

4-6 Weeks

On receipt of advice from Security agencies or otherwise, Ministry of Interior will authorize DG, Immigration & Passport, Islamabad to grant requisite extension in Study visa to the students of Deeni Madaris for the entire period of the specific course for which the entry study visa was granted under intimation to Mo FE&PT (DGRE), ISI and IB.
